Donna Bowers

Donna M. Bowers, 71, of Sidney, OH, passed away on January 19, 2021, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, OH. Born in Connersville, IN, on October 10, 1949, to Raymond D. and Linda (Allen) Smith. She graduated from New Haven High School in 1967. Donna married Steven Bowers in New Haven, on April 19, 1975. She was a homemaker all her life. Donna had health issues most of her life, but that made her appreciate the little things even more. She liked her pets, which held a very special place in her heart. Most of all she loved her family. Donna is survived by her husband, Steven D. Bowers Sr.; one daughter, Linda M. Bowers; two sons, Steven D. Bowers Jr. and John R. Bowers; her mother, Linda Smith; four grandchildren, Emerald Bowers, Steven D. Bowers III, Austin Bowers and Jazmine Bowers; two sisters, Naomi Sue Roth and Linda Lou Rorick; two brothers, Raymond Smith Jr. and John E. Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond D. Smith Sr.; mother-in-law, Geraldine A. Bowers; father-in-law, Julian M. Bowers; and brother-in-law, Leonard Rorick. Calling will take place at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home Huntertown Chapel, 16830 Lima Road, Huntertown, on January 26, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m., with calling also one hour prior to the service on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
