Donna Cassidy

Donna M. Cassidy, 90, formerly of Churubusco, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at her daughters home in Richmond, KY. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 23, 1929, to the late Harry and Lena (Morrissette) Geyer. Donna was married to Hibbard J. Cassidy on June 9, 1951. They spent their formative years in Minnesota before moving to Churubusco in 1966. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed playing cards, painting and knitting afghans for family and friends. Donna is survived by six children, Steven (Kathleen) Cassidy of Fort Wayne, Bruce (Bernie) Cassidy of Meridian, ID, Laura (John) Myers of Churubusco, Lynn Cassidy of Maple Grove, MN, LeaAnn Manth of LaOtto and Kathleen (Jeff) Walker of Richmond, KY; a brother, Chuck (Collen) Geyer; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was proceeded in death by a son, Mark C. Cassidy; a granddaughter, Breanna Walker; a son-in-law, Rick Manth; two sisters, Marlene Berg and Barb Herkenhoff; a brother, Gary Geyer. A memorial service will take place at Lindenwood Cemetery at a later date.
