Edward Mckinley

Edward McKinley, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Allen County, on June 4, 1937, to the late Earl and Helen (Rodgers) McKinley. He spent his formative years in Allen County, graduating from Huntertown High School. After high school Edward volunteered to serve his county in the United States Navy, retiring after 20 years of service. Edward was married to Linda Blessing in Fort Wayne, on January 15, 1966. He enjoyed Golf, riding his bike and bowling. His love of golf started during his service in the Philippians. Edward is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda McKinley; his daughter, Lisa (William) McAfee; his grandson, Christian Whittaker; four brothers, Gene McKinley, Kenneth McKinley, Phillip McKinley and Donald McKinley; three sisters, Audrey (Chas) Henson, Charlene Henning and Juanita (Arthur) Salge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl McKinley, Jr., Robert McKinley, Richard McKinley and Stanley McKinley. No Services at this time.
