A beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, she was born on August 29, 1944, in Huntington, to the late Clifford Edward and Clara L. (Springer) Stouder. She grew up in Wabash, Indiana, where she spent her formative years. A proud graduate of Noble Township High School, she completed her education in 1962. Etta's thirst for knowledge led her to Ivy Tech, where she earned two associate degrees, a testament to her dedication and ambition.
Early in her career, Etta moved to Fort Wayne. Her career as a Home Interiors Salesperson began in 1980, a role that she embraced with enthusiasm and dedication, bringing beauty and warmth into the homes of countless families. Etta's keen eye for design and her innate ability to connect with people made her a cherished member of her community.
In 1991, Etta found her love and married Robert Hamilton on November 9, 1991, after which they made their home in Churubusco. Etta was a devoted member of Pine Hills Church, where she cultivated her faith and shared in worship. She was most fond of spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She most recently found joy in word searches and puzzles.
