Eunice J. Vinogradov, 72, of Churubusco, passed away at 8:53 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Vinogradov was born on August 14, 1943 in Pound, Virginia, a daughter of John Curdes and LouVerna (Gardner) Collier. She spent her formative years in Pound, Virgina, and graduated from Pound High School in 1961.
On July 7, 1969 she was married in U.s. Virgin Island to John Vinogradov, and moved from Pound, Virginia to Churubusco in 1965.
She was employed at Byron Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist.
In her free time she enjoyed crafting, quilting, and reading.
Her spouse preceded her in death on January 30, 2010.
The surviving relatives include her son, Edward P. Vinogradov of Churubusco; a grandson, Jesse John Vinogradov of Churubusco; a granddaughter Anastasia Carter; five sisters, Mary Ellen (Frank) Hernam of Sebastian, FL, JuVada (Homer) Strattan of Norton, VA, Patricia Collier of Palm City, FL, Janice (Gene) Oliver, Brenda (Michael) Boggs both of Pound, VA; a brother, Preston (Carolyn) Collier of Manassas, VA; several nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Curdes and Louverna (Gardner) Collier; and a brother Dallas Collier.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Pastor Lane Burgland, officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday.
