Floyd Boland

Floyd K. Boland, 76, of rural Columbia City, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at his home in Smith Township. Mr. Boland was born on January 12, 1939 in Columbia City, a son of Roy F. and Anna (Bauermeister) Boland. He spent his formative years in Columbia City. He was employed at Falstaff Brewery Co., and retired in 1990 after 29 years. Mr. Boland was a member and elder of the Warsaw Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The surviving relatives include his brother, Raymond Boland of Columbia City. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy F.and Anna (Bauermeister) Boland. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Pastor Jesse Santos, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, or one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.
