Frederick Green

Frederick K. Green, Sr., 80, of Churubusco, passed away at 5:35 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at home in Churubusco. Mr. Green was born on March 26, 1936 in Allen County, Indiana, a son of Charles F. and Gwendolyn (Hoover) Green. He was employed at Dana, Churubusco, and retired in 1995 after 32. Mr. Green was a member of American Legion Post 157. His spouse Judith Green preceded him in death in 2001. The surviving relatives include his sons, Myron (Minh) Green of Churubusco and Keith Green of Columbia City; his daughters, Cheryl Lawson of Columbia City and Paula (Brian) Johnson of Fort Wayne; his brother, Richard Green of Churubusco; eight grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; a brother Paul Green; a son, Steve Green. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Eel River Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Van Horn, officiating. Burial will be in the Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.
