G. Lorraine Warner

G. Lorraine Warner, 97, of Huntertown, passed away on July 19, 2024, at Park Place Senior Living. She was born on June 24, 1927, in Fort Wayne, and was the beloved daughter of Walter and Mary Ellen (Poinsette) Price. She spent her formative years in Huntertown and graduated from Huntertown High School in 1945. Lorraine shared a beautiful life with Joseph C. Warner, whom she married on June 8, 1946. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2001. Lorraine was a woman of many talents, but her most cherished were those she expressed in her own backyard and kitchen. She found great joy in tending to her garden and was renowned for her ability to bake any kind of pie imaginable. Her black raspberry and strawberry rhubarb pies, in particular, were favorites amongst family, friends, and neighbors. Lorraine will be deeply missed by her children, Marsha (Jerome) Dennison, Gary (Sandy) Warner, Paul (Teresa) Warner, and Chris Warner; her six grandchildren, her 27 great-grandchildren, and her six great-great -grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Price. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the Fellowship of Wesley Chapel located at 13733 Wesley Chapel Road, Churubusco, Indiana, 46723, with calling one hour prior to the service. The family will also receive family and friends at the Church on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Lorraine will be laid to rest at the Huntertown Cemetery.
