Gary Byerley

Gary E. Byerley, 61, of Avilla, passed away at 7:25 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Fort Wayne on December 23, 1956 to Paul and Loretta (Bennett) Byerley. He spent his formative years in Churubusco and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1975. He worked for Advance Mixer for over 15 years. He loved the outdoors and his tomato plants. Gary is survived by two brothers, David (Sharon) Byerley and Mark (Tammy) Byerley; five nephews and nieces and 10 great nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents. Calling will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Calling also one hour prior to the service. Services will begin at 11:00 AM, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Friday, June 8, 2018. Burial will follow at Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.
