Gary "Mac" Millington

Gary "Mac" W. Millington, 77, of Churubusco, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018, at Ashton Creek in Fort Wayne. Born in Decatur, on April 22, 1941, to the late George and Mary (Hill) Millington. He spent his formative years in in Decatur and graduated from Decatur High School. Mac was married to Linda O'Driscoll in Churubusco, on May 7, 1986. His hobbies included hunting, NASCAR "Rusty Wallace", trains and cars. He worked at the Decatur Sheriff's Department and most recently was the jail commander at the Columbia City Sheriff's Department for 6 years. Mac is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Millington of Churubusco; three sons; Scott (Cyndee) Millington of Decatur, Randy (Maria) Sonner of Roanoke and Rick (Jill) Sonner of Fort Wayne; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Jim Davis of Indianapolis. Memorial Services will be at 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2018, at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, Officiating, Pastor Paul White Family will receive friends on Friday from 4-6 p.m, Memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or Community Harvest Food Bank.
