George "Bill" Gordon

George "Bill" William Gordon, 69, of Columbia City, passed away on November 16, 2019, at his residence in Columbia City, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, on June 1, 1950, to the late George W. Sr. and Lillian P (Amoski) Gordon. He graduated from Churubusco High School in 1968. He served in the US Army. Bill is survived by two sons, Sean Barcus of Churubusco and George W. Gordon III of Bayfield, WI; one daughter, Jeannie (Melvin) Buckholtz of Hayward, WI; nine grandchildren, Kayla J. (Tristan) Jones, Samantha R. and Tabitha L. Barcus, Joseph B. Benjamin, Jada A. and James A. Waabanokwe, Niigani Buckholtz and Wintergreen Gordon; two sisters, Nancy (Monte) Gaff of Churubusco, Carolyn (Willard) Shively of Fort Wayne; three brothers, Thomas J. (Sharon) Gordon of Fort Wayne, Michael J. (Virgie) Gordon of AR and Robert N. (Mona) Gordon of Churubusco; brother-in-law, John Cazier of Kendallville. He is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Cazier. Memorial Services will take place at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home 206 N. Main Street, Churubusco, IN 46723, on November 20, 2019, at 7:00 pm.
