Glen Hemmelgarn

Glen Martin Hemmelgarn 77, of Albion, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Parkview Whitley Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, on October 31, 1941, to the late, Glen H. and Thelma L. (Huth) Hemmelgarn. Glen enlisted in United States Air Force in 1960. After the service he became a self employed carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Sue Hemmelgarn of Fort Wayne; four biological daughters by first wife, Ruby Landess, Cathy (Terrell) Osbun of Columbia City, Gayle Talaga of FL, Linda (Francisco) Mireles of Fort Wayne and Laura (James) Pranger of Budapest, Hungary who were adopted by their late step-father, James Landess; many grandchildren; daughter-in-law Pauline Hemmelgarn of MD; a sister JoAnn Allman of Churubusco. He was preceded in death by his son, Omer Hemmelgarn; two sisters, Patricia Wertman and Shirley Moss. There are no services scheduled.
