Harry Geiger

Harry L Geiger, 70, of Churubusco, passed away on February 15, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Fort Wayne, on February 24, 1948, to the late, Earl and Mary (Harter) Geiger. He spent his formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1966. Harry was married to Loretta Kay Wakeman in Las Vegas, on February 10, 1987. She preceded him in death on December 16, 2007. He worked at C & A Tool in Churubusco, retiring in 2005 after 20 years. Harry is survived by four daughters, Nicole (John) Bortner, Trina Peters, Sherri Godschalk and Michelle Godschalk; a son, Harold (Heidi Geller) Coil; a brother, Chuck (Joyce) Geiger; three sisters, Bonnie (Bill) Schirmeyer, Mary Ann Garte and Pauline (Jerry) Lane; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Bolenbaugh, Leona Upgraft and Claire Nuenthal; two brothers, George Geiger and Paul Geiger. Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at 10:00 AM, with calling one hour prior to the service. Family will also receive friends on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Burial will take place at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
