Helen Fulk

Helen B. Fulk , 85, of Wolf Lake, passed away at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 27, 2012 at her residence in Wolf Lake. Mrs. Fulk was born on November 10, 1926 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of John and Edith (Campbell) Listenberger. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne. In April of 1974 she was married in Ligonier to Jesse Fulk. She had moved from Fort Wayne to the Wolf Lake area where she had lived since 1942 . Mrs. Fulk was a member of Wolf Lake Veterans of Foreign Wars # 4717 Auxiliary. She enjoyed puzzles and tending her many flower gardens. Her spouse preceded her in death in 1986. The surviving relatives include Companion - Herbert Brooks of Wolf Lake; two daughters Cookie (Dennis) Coil of Albion and Georgia (Randy) Elijah of Albion; three sons John (Margaret) Steinbacher of Fort Wayne, Charles Steinbacher of Ligonier, and Harvey Steinbacher of Churubusco; step-son Dick Fulk; step- daughter Bonnie Meyers; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by her five brothers; four sisters; a step-son Tom Fulk and a step-daughter Jill Fulk. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Rev. Corinne K. Boruff-Stucker, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, or one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Thorn Cemetery, Ormas.
