Helen Mustin

Helen Marie Mustin, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on October 18, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Wolf Lake, on February 28, 1926, to the late Chauncey and Lodema (Hile) Thompson. She spent her formative years in Wolf Lake, graduating from Wolf Lake High School in 1944. She then graduated from the former Emmanuel Missionary College, now known as Andrews University. Helen was married to M. Keith Mustin in Richmond, Indiana, on November 13, 1955. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1989. She worked as a school teacher in Richmond before moving to Fort Wayne. She retired from the Allen County Public Library in 1998, after 42 years. She is a lifetime member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Wolf Lake Church. She loved reading, animals and her God. Helen is survived by her daughter, Susan (John) Pfeiffer; a sister, Roxy Gibson; two grandchildren, Rachel (Simon) Finn and Michael Pfeiffer. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Thompson; her son, Stephen Mustin Memorial Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Monday, October 26, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. with calling starting at 12:00 p.m. Burial taking place at Wolf Lake Cemetery.
