Helen Sipe

Helen L. Sipe, 101, of New Haven, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Woodview Assisted Living in Fort Wayne. Born on September 11, 1916 in Noble County she was a daughter of the late Howard and Cora (Moore) Foster. She spent her formative years in Noble County and graduated from Albion High School. She later graduated from Indiana Business College. Helen Was married to Elden King on March7, 1936. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1955. She later married James H. Sipe on October 24, 1962. He preceded her on August 25, 1999. She was a member of the New Haven United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family. Hosea 6:1 "Come, let us return to the LORD; for he has torn us, that he may heal us; he has struck us down, and he will bind us up." Helen is survived by children, Jerry (Judy) King, Tom Sipe, Janet (Ted) Workman, Mary (Marvin) Bratt and Maxine (Russell) Healey; 20 grandchildren; many many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both her husbands; a son, Paul King; her sister, Ethel Hoffman; two grandsons and a great granddaughter. Calling will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Calling also one hour prior to the service. Services will begin at 11:00 AM, at New Haven United Methodist Church on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
