Israel Sherman

Israel Paul Sherman, 46, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born in Fort Wayne on March 13, 1976, to Paul and Gayle (Helton) Sherman. He spent his formative years in Brazil, IN and Clay City, IN and graduated from Northview High School. He received an associate degree from Ivy Tech. Israel had worked for C & A Tools for the last 23 years as CNC Programmer. He enjoyed playing competitive pool with his cousins. He also enjoyed gaming and playing with people all over the world. He especially enjoyed gaming with his nephew and nieces. Israel is survived by his mother, Gayle (Carl Beachy) Sherman; his sister, Kim (Greg) Stahl; a nephew, Dallas Sherman; three nieces, Madison Roberts, Kaylie Roberts, and Katey Stahl; several aunts and uncles; many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Sherman. The family will receive family and friends at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
