Jack Brunkhart

Jack Brunkhart, 69, of Churubusco, passed away on December 8, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born in Fort Wayne, on January 27, 1953, to Jack H. and Violet M. (Hart) Brunkhart. He spent his formative years in Fort Wayne and graduated from Central High School in 1971. Jack was a Draftsman at Shambaugh and Sons, retiring in 2002. He loved gardening, yard work, and animals. Jack is survived by his wife, Trudy Brunkhart; his daughter, Stacy Brunkhart; his son, Patrick (Jessica) Brunkhart; two grandchildren, Gabby and Jacob; two sisters, Susan (Herb) Shanyfelt and Aldena (Wayne Baysinger) Avery; his brother, Steven (Diana) Brunkhart; best friends, Carl (Debbie) Barber and Chris (Robbin) Teetsel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Phillip and Loann (Hoeppner) Oberkiser; a brother-in-law Timothy Oberkiser.
