Jackie "Jack" Smith

Jack L. Smith, 73, of Churubusco, passed away on September 19, 2017 at his home. Born on November 26, 1943 in Davy, WV. He was a son of W.E. & Agnes (McClary) Smith. He spent his formative years in Logan West Virginia and graduated from Logan High School in 1961. He married his high school sweetheart Patricia Hubbard on August 14, 1962. The couple settled in Allen County in 1967. He owned and operated Jack Smith Heating and Air and retired after more than 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golf. Jack is survived by his wife, Patricia Smith of Churubusco; four children, Timothy Smith of Hudson, Michael Smith, Rhonda Smith both of Churubusco, and Megan Smith of Cleveland, Oh.; two grandchildren, Amber Wilson and Kaidin Smith; five great grandchildren, Jaidyn, Jordyn, Jalisa, Kristopher and Keegan. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Raymond and a sister Carol. At Jack's request, there will be no services at this time.
