Jacqueline Brown

Jacqueline Rose (Foote) Brown, 76, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 2:40 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital. Born on August 30, 1941 in Huntertown she was a daughter of the late Willard and Clara (Martin) Foote. She spent her formative years in Churubusco and graduated as the valedictorian of Churubusco High School class of 1959. She was a crafter, avid reader and painted with oil and water paints. Later in life she took up genealogy. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Jacqueline is survived by four children, Deana (Mark) Tritch of Hudson, Theresa Brown, Randy Brown and Denny (Rebecca) Brown all of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren, Megan Tritch, Kristien (Dan) Taylor, Adam Tritch, Zachary Brown, Becca Brown, Katie (Drew) O'Dell, Lauren Krull, Luke Brown and Jake Brown; three great grandchildren and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Alton, Joseph, Richard, David, and Charles Foote; two sisters, Phyllis Weaver and Martha Longardner; and an infant son, Douglas Brown. Calling will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Calling also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Services will begin at 10:00 AM, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Burial will follow at Eel River Cemetery.
