James Hibbs

James D. Hibbs, 55, of Churubusco, passed away at 6:32 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home in Churubusco. Mr. Hibbs was born on January 27, 1960 in Auburn, a son of Devillo "Jack" and Donna (Froman) Hibbs. He spent his formative years in Churubusco. He was self employed as a farmer and handy man. The surviving relatives include his parents, Devillo "Jack" and Donna Hibbs of Churubusco; six sisters, Janet (Loyd) Flener of Chasnee, SC, Jackie (Dave) Folk of Tennyson, Joyce (Ed) Dauscher of Columbia City, Julia (Cliff) Gaff of Albion, Jeni Speidell of Fort Wayne, and Sandy (Jody) Simmons of Battle Ground; two brothers, John Hibbs of Churubusco and Jeff (Sandi) Hibbs of Cromwell; 32 nieces and nephews and 34 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his niece Maria Flener. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday. For those who wish, memorials may be directed to Cancer Services of N.E.
