Jamin Micah Winebrenner, 29, a resident of Churubusco, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, March 14, 2013 at his home. Jamin was born on January 30, 1984 in Columbia City, a son of Steven and Cindy (Herendeen) Winebrenner, was educated at Smith-Green Community Schools, and was a lifelong resident of Churubusco. He had been employed for several years as a machinist at C&A Tool and Engineering in Churubusco, and in his leisure time enjoyed all types of athletics, including weightlifting, and Indiana University football and basketball.e He enjoyed cooking, music, and will be missed by his dog "Hoosier." The surviving relatives include his parents Steve and Cindy Winebrenner of Churubusco; sisters Jocelyn (Kerry) Clouse of Albion and Jacinda (Brad) Porter of Centerville, Tenn; a brother Josiah (Angie Brady) Winebrenner of Churubusco; his maternal grandparents Max and Ann Herendeen of Churubusco; four nieces Shylyn Clouse, Janaya Winebrenner, Emma Porter, and Braya Clouse; two nephews Jaydrian Clouse and Leland Porter; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Ty and Evelyn Winebrenner. Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. on Monday, March 18, 2013, at the Merriam Christian Chapel, 3985 S. U. S. 33, with Pastors Steve Pulley and Rick Van Horn, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco on Sunday from 2 to 8 p. m., or at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
