Janice K. Skinner, of Churubusco, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Kingston Care Center in Fort Wayne.
She was born in Hartford City, on June 30, 1939, to the late Sylvester & Martha (Yencer) Jarvis. She spent her formative years in Fairmount and attended Fairmount High School.
Janice was a CNA that used her gifts to care for elderly people. She was passionate about caring for people. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, and tatting.
Janice is survived by her five children, Arlan (Vickie) Skinner, Lisa (Kim) Burden, Linda (Ronald) Rock, Bruce and Robert Massengill; two sisters, Rita (James) Spiekermeier and Gloria Siddoway; four brothers, Jerry, Richard, Dennis, and Nicholas (Marjorie) Jarvis; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Parish and Mary Lou Teagle; three brothers, William, Frank, and Dale Jarvis.
A burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington.
