Jeffrey Alan Winebrenner, 55, of Albion, a beloved son, husband, father, and brother, passed away on August 27, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Fort Wayne on November 2, 1968, to Oran and Carol (Rice) Winebrenner. He spent his formative years in Allen County and graduated from Carroll High School in 1987.
Jeff was a dedicated fabricator, where he has worked for the last 27 years, most of them at Dial - X, a testament to his hard work and commitment to his craft. He resided in Albion, where he made a beautiful home with his wife, Amy (Jackson) Winebrenner, whom he married on May 20, 2022.
Jeff was a man of many passions. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame Sports, Colts Football, and Cubs Baseball. He enjoyed playing golf in his leisure time, and he loved yard work, which reflected his deep connection with nature and outdoor life. He also had a special fondness for helping on the family farm and International Harvester Tractors, displaying his love for the land and his roots.
In addition to his wife, Amy, and parents, Jeff is survived by his children, Haley (Derek) Sherrill, Amber (Aaron) Ellis, Kevin (Kaylynn) Blaine, Jr, and Tiffany Lopez; his brother, Jason (Stephanie) Winebrenner; 11 grandchildren, Kaden, Allie, Jasmym, Sophia, Chethan, Brantley, Karson, Adriel, Henry, Jackson, and Kylo.
A funeral service will be held at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service.
The family will also receive family and friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Burial will follow at a later date at the Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco.
