Jennifer Ann Cripe, 56, of North Webster, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on August 14, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Jennifer was born on October 6, 1969, in Fort Wayne, to Delbert and Shirley Cripe. She spent her formative years in Allen County and graduated from Carroll High School.
Jennifer will be remembered for her unwavering spirit and her vibrant passion for life. A devoted admirer of all things Disney, she treasured the joy found in the parks, movies, and merchandise that brought her happiness. She found delight in collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and spent countless hours antique shopping and searching for deals in Shipshewana. Her affection for history was evident in her extensive collection of postcards and artifacts celebrating the rich heritage of her cherished North Webster community. She was a long-time supporter and fan of the Arcola Tractor Pulls. She especially loved the "sammichs.”
Jennifer dedicated 22 years of her life to the Tippecanoe Township Clerk's Office, where her commitment and love for her work left a lasting impact. Even after taking a medical retirement, she continued to shine as a people person, engaging with customers at Lassus Gas Station, where she worked part-time.
Her love for elephants knew no bounds, and her greatest joy came from spending time with her twin grandsons, taking them out to eat and showering them with affection and indulgences that only a grandmother can provide.
Jennifer is survived by her loving sons, Zachary (Amanda) Ducey and Justin (Samantha) Ducey; her devoted mother, Shirley Cripe; her brothers, Rex and Delbert Cripe; and her grandsons, Nolan and Nathan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Cripe, on June 1, 2025.
