Jerald Kahlenbeck

Jerald J. Kahlenbeck, 72, of Churubusco, passed Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Parkview Randalia Hospital. He was born in Fort Wayne to Bob W. and Evelyn (Scribner) Kahlenbeck. Jerald graduated from Churubusco High School in 1969. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army from 1970-1972. He was in the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vietnam. Jerald worked at Dana in Churubusco until it closed. He then worked at Auto Liv in Columbia City. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Kahlenbeck; two brothers, Bill (Betty) and Ned Kahlenbeck; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Bob W. Kahlenbeck, and sister, Sharon Kahlenbeck. A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, with calling two hours prior to the service.
