Jerry Reynolds

Jerry Cee Reynolds, 68, a resident of Churubusco passed away at 9:49 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, after a long illness. e Mr. Reynolds was born on April 2, 1943 in Angola, a son of Jess C. and Bernice Maxine (Rose) Reynolds. He spent his formative years in Angola, graduating from Angola High School in 1961. Following his service in the United States Army, he worked as a machinist beginning at General Electric in 1970 and retiring in 2000 as the owner of REM Corp. On May 16, 1964 he married Chloe (Showalter) Reynolds in Angola. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Jay (Liz) Reynolds of Lafayette and Tina (Rick) Heredeen of Florida; four brothers Gary (Susan) Reynolds, Max (Tami) Reynolds, Dick (Diana) Reynolds all of Angola, and Bob Reynolds of Florida; and four granddaughters China, Maddy, Haley, and Hanna. Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco, with military rites by U. S. Army Funeral Detail. There will be calling from 1:00 ea" 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Churubusco United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 250 N.
