Jessie A. Clouse, 99, a former resident of rural Albion in Green Township and widow of Fred L. Clouse, passed away at 9:30 a. m. on Friday, December 21, 2012, at the Provena Sacred Heart Home in Avilla.e She had been a resident there since 2004. Mrs. Clouse was born in York Township in Noble County on October 12, 1913, a daughter of Henry N. and Delila (Zimmer) Becker.e She spent her formative years in Noble County and graduated from Wawaka High School. On October 14, 1913 she was married in Columbia City to Fred L. Clouse, and lived all of her adult life in Green Township.e A homemaker, she enjoyed quilting, gardening, flowers, cooking, and most especially cherished her family. She was a member of the Green Center United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women. Mr. Clouse preceded her in death on October 4, 1993. The surviving relatives include her children David (Judy) Clouse of Jackson, Mich., Hershel (Mary) Clouse of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., and Bette Owen of Albion; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Walter Clouse; two sisters Esther Gunder and Katie L. Noe; and by five brothers Norman Becker, Russell Becker, Arthur Becker, Walter Becker, and Allen Becker.e Memorial services aree at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Green Center United Methodist Church, Pastor nancy Fergusson, Officiating.e With calling one hour prior to the service.
