Joann Goodyear

Joann Kay Goodyear, 64, of Bluffton, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Fort Wayne, on October 5, 1955, to the late John and Vivian (Krot) McLaughlin. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne, graduating from South Side High School. Joann was married to Steve Goodyear at First Eel River Baptist Church, on April 9, 1983. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, playing the piano, doing puzzles and was an avid reader. She especially enjoyed raising her son. Joann is survived by her husband of 36 years, Steve Goodyear; her son, Christopher Goodyear; two brothers, John (Melissa) McLaughlin and Jim (Becky) McLaughlin. Memorial Services took place at First Eel River Baptist Church on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Burial will take place at Blue River Cemetery, on October 5, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. In Lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana.
