Joe Willard Clifford, 80, of Churubusco, passed away on January 28, 2026, at his home.

He was born on August 11, 1945, in Fort Wayne, to the late Donald and Dorothy (Brewer) Clifford, and spent his life in Allen County, where he graduated from Huntertown High School.

Joe met the love of his life, Judy Frazier, in high school, and they married on November 10, 1963. Together, they shared a passion for adventure, traveling to numerous tractor shows, and were active members of the Minneapolis Moline Tractor Collectors Club. Joe was a dedicated family man who took immense pride in his family and work life.

Having worked for Harvester for 20 years, Joe went on to own and operate Clifford's Repair for 25 years, all the while demonstrating his commitment to the community by driving a school bus for 15 years.

Joe is survived by two sons, Michael (Stepheni) Clifford and Brian Clifford; his brother, Arthur (Jane) Clifford; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Judy, who passed on September 7, 2024; a brother, Thomas Clifford; and his sister, Peggy Russell.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, with calling one hour prior to the service.

The family will also receive family and friends at the funeral home on February 2, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A burial will follow at Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco.

Memorials may be directed to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
