Jon Gaff

Jon Lynn Gaff, 54, of Columbia City and formerly of Green Township in Noble County, passed away at 6:10 a. m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Mr. Gaff was born on August 16, 1957 in Columbia City, a son of J. Lincoln and Juanita LaVon (Decker) Gaff. He spent his formative years in Churubusco, and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1975. The surviving relatives include mother, Juanita LaVon Gaff of Columbia City; a daughter Jackie Gaff of Fort Wayne; a son, Joseph Gaff of the united States Army; two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother J.L. Gaff; a nephew Joseph Gaff. Funeral services will be held at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Saturday at 1:00 p. m., with Pastor Brad Fredrickson, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Burial will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
