Josefine Heger, 16, of Berlin, Germany, passed away on February 15, 2025.
She was born on October 2, 2008 in Berlin, Germany, to Jens and Sabrina Heger. Josefine, a bright and ambitious student, brought joy and inspiration to everyone around her. She was a beacon of hope and positivity, with an infectious smile that could lighten up any room.
Josefine lived a life full of enthusiasm and passion. Her love for life was truly infectious. Fine's dream of spending a year in the United States wasn't just about traveling, but about learning, connecting, and growing. Her eagerness to understand how others live, their customs, and their stories showed just how much she valued her exchange experience. Family meant everything to her, and she spoke of them with such love. She planned to finish school in her home country and return to study and live here in the United States and become a surgeon.
Josefine is survived by her loving parents, Jens and Sabrina Heger, and her dear sister, Hanna Heger. They, along with her friends and loved ones, will carry on her memory as a testament to her unwavering spirit and zest for life.
