Joseph D. Geller, 81, of Churubusco, passed away on November 5, 2025, at his home.
Joseph was born in Fort Wayne on March 3, 1944, to the late Donald and Jennie (Spice) Geller. He spent his formative years in Allen County and graduated from Arcola High School in 1962.
He was a loving husband to Etta Anne Fitch, to whom he was married on May 16, 1970.
Joseph went on to have a fulfilling career as a Tool Maker, retiring from Harvester and Essex. An avid outdoorsman, Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He also exhibited his musical side by playing the keyboard in several bands over the years.
Joseph was a dedicated member of the Arcola Lions Club and St. John Bosco Catholic Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 55 years, Etta Anne Geller; his sons, Jason and Samuel (Kelly) Geller; his brothers, Donald (Elsie) Geller, Kenneth (Suzanne) Geller, John (Leah) Geller, and James (Denise) Geller; and his sister, Rosalie Geller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, with calling hours beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel.
Joseph will be laid to rest at the Huntertown Cemetery.
