Joseph Hubbard

Joseph Thomas "Scooter" Hubbard, 68, of Churubusco, passed away at home on April 27, 2025. He was born in Fort Wayne on October 6, 1956, to the late Joe and Marilyn (Noble) Hubbard. Joe was married to Martha Uptgraft on August 15, 1997. Scooter was known for his love of riding his Harley, his dedicated work at BRC Churubusco, and his time at Essex Wire in Columbia City. Joe was a devoted family man; his greatest pride was his grandchildren. Joe's warmth, humor, and joy will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Martha Hubbard; his children, Jonathan Bullock, Tonya (Spencer) Kistler, Matthew Bullock, Christina (Calvin) Krieger, Rocky (Rebekah) Bullock, Angel (Abe) Gardner, and Misty Sheehan; his sisters, Sue Ann (Dean) Fraley and Paula (Steve) Shrock; and 26 grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Mary Joe, Kathy, James, and Chuck Hubbard; his grandson, Andrew Bullock. A memorial gathering will be held at the Auburn Auction Place, 5536 CR 11, Auburn, Indiana, 46706, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
