Joshua Fletcher

Joshua Michael Fletcher, 42, formerly of Churubusco, passed away on May 19, 2017 at his home in Lewiston, Michigan. Born in Fort Wayne on July 13, 1974, a son of Cynthia Fletcher and Henry Parton. He spent his formative years in Churubusco and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1992. After High School, he served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was married on October 31, 2011 to Peggy Sue Burgess. Joshua was a member of the Gilbert Davis American Legion post 157, Churubusco. He was a passionate American who had a love of motorcycles and animals. He loved his family especially his daughter. Joshua is survived by his wife, Peggy Sue Fletcher of Lewiston, Mi; his mother, Cynthia Fletcher of Churubusco; his father, Henry (Sandy) Parton of Leo; his daughter Joshalyn Fletcher of Garrett; his two step-children Meagan and John Defer both of Fort Wayne; his brother Toby (Michelle) Thomas of Pierceton; his two nephews James Myers and Kristopher Thomas both of Pierceton; his maternal grandmother, Mary Fletcher of Churubusco. Visiting hours will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on May 24, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Military Rites will begin at 7:00 PM, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on May 24, 2017.
