Judith Heiney

Judith "Judy" Heiney, 65, of Churubusco, passed away on November 14, 2022, at her residence. She was born on April 30, 1957, in Fort Wayne to the late William J. and Barbara A (Gebert) Lyons. She graduated from Snider High School in 1975. Judy married Joe E. Heiney on September 3, 1993, in Las Vegas. Judy was a lover of all dogs, especially Golden Retrievers. Her hobbies were bowling, jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, and fishing with her husband. She is survived by her husband, Joe Heiney; a son, David (Sarah) Fox; a granddaughter, Avery Lynn; two brothers, Patrick (Angie) Lyons and William Lyons; a sister, Debra (Jerry) Martin ; one brother Steven Lyons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Lyons. Burial will be November 29, 2022, 11:00am at Clear Creek Cemetery. Memorials to the Whitley County Humane Shelter Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
