Judith "Judy" Sherman

Judith "Judy" Sherman, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away on March 28, 2021, at her current home in Auburn. Born in Fort Wayne, on December 13, 1939, to the late Wayne and Rosanna (Hartup) Fromm. She spent her formative years in Churubusco graduating from Churubusco High School in 1958. Through the years Judy always opened her home to care for the kids of her community. She was "honorary grandma" to many. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Judy is survived by her three children, Andrew (Angie) Sherman, Susie (Anita) Sherman and Sherry (Dan) Feasel; two sisters, Pat (Hal) Beck and Hope (Dallard) Tackett; two brothers, Paul (Michelle) Hartup and DWayne (Val) Hartup; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Fromm and Rosanna Goings; three brothers, Steve Fromm, Jeff Fromm, and Mike Goings. Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel on Friday, April 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. The family will also receive friends on Thursday, April 1, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial taking place at Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco. Memorials to the Shepherd's House.
