Judy Dafforn

Judy Lynne Dafforn, 76, a resident of rural Churubusco, passed away at 5:40 a.m. on July 19, 2017 at her home. Born on November 3, 1940 in Arcola to Wayne and Helen (Vaughn) Miller. She spent her formative years in Arcola and graduated from Arcola High School in 1959. Judy was married to Roger Dafforn on September 3, 1972 in Fort Wayne. She worked for Lincoln Life for 14 years then at the Northwest Allen County Schools for more than 20 years. Judy is survived by her husband, Roger Dafforn of Churubusco; two sons, Devin Dafforn and Darren (Donna) Dafforn both of Churubusco; two sisters, Gloria (George) Bojrab of Fort Wayne and Marlene Miller of Oquawka, Il; two grandchildren, Drew and Danica Dafforn both of Churubusco; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Visiting hours will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Calling also one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Services will begin at 10:00 AM, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Burial will follow at Eel River Cemetery, Allen County. Memorials may be directed to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Allen County 4-H, or Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.
