Julie Shaffer-Mchenry

Julie M. Shaffer-McHenry, 56, of Churubusco, passed on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at her home. Born on May 21, 1964, in Gary, IN, to Basil L. and Linda (Weller) Shaffer. She graduated from Hobart High School in 1982. Julie loved embroidery, sewing and butterflies. She is survived by one son, Mark McHenry; mother, Linda Shaffer; three sisters, Rebecca (Gerald) Thompson, Michelle (Jullian) Morris and Leslie Mullen; one brother, Michael (Kristina) Shaffer. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Basil L. Shaffer in 2017. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, 206 N.
