Junine Reed

Junine E. Reed , 66, of Avilla, passed away at 8:20 am on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at her home in Avilla. Mrs. Reed was born on March 16, 1946 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Thomas M. and Agatha (Ditmars) Gibson. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne, and graduated from North Side High School in 1964. On October 14, 1967 she was married in Fort Wayne to Paul Reed, and moved from Fort Wayne to Avilla where she had lived for the last 12 years. She was employed at Aunt Millie's for 15 years. The surviving relatives include her husband Paul E. Reed; daughter - Amy (Doug) Lawson of Churubusco; son - John (Kathy) Reed of Columbia City; sisters - Connie (Dave) Jennings of Fort Wayne and Cindy (Carl) Ward of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren - Parker Reed, Jessie Lawson, Samuel Lawson, and Grace Lawson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two infant sisters; an Infant son, Zachary Reed. A private family service will be held. Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett. For those who wish, memorials may be directed to Sarah L.
