Kevin Guffey

Kevin Ray Guffey, 38, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at his home. He was born in Huntington, on December 8, 1983, to Kenny R. and Sandra (Hall) Guffey. He spent his formative years in Northwest Allen County and attended Carroll High School. Kevin enjoyed spending time outside in the garden and listening to music. He especially loved spending time playing with his daughter, going to her softball games, and just acting like a kid with her. Kevin is survived by his daughter, Kayleigh Guffey; his mother and stepfather, Sandra Guffey and Keston Smith; two brothers, Shawn and Scott Guffey; his best friend, Nakaia Coburn. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenny Guffey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior to the funeral at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel. Burial will take place at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be directed to his daughter Kayleigh Guffey C/O Sandra Guffey.
