Kimberly Davis

Kimberly R. Davis, 38, of Churubusco, passed away at 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Davis was born on January 13, 1976 in Chesapeake, Virginia, a daughter of Glenn Ferguson and Glory Shelmadine. She spent her formative years in Chesapeake, Virginia. She was married in Chesapeake, Virginia to Robert Davis, and moved from Virginia to Churubusco where she had lived for the last five years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. The surviving relatives include two daughters, Khailee B. and Kourtnee M. Davis both of Churubusco; a son, Khaleb F. R. Davis of Churubusco; mother, Glory (Max) Shelmadine of Churubusco; father, Glenn Ferguson of Chesapeake, VA.; sister, Kelly Ferguson of Chesapeake, VA; two brothers, Kevin (Tracie) Ferguson of Chesapeake, VA. and Randy (Mandy) Shelmadine of St. Louis, MO.; maternal grandmother, Betty Brinkley. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and her maternal grandpa. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Pastor Steven Pulley, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, or one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Eel River Cemetery, Allen County.
