Larry M. Teague, 59, a resident of Churubusco, passed away early Friday morning, March 20, 2015, at his home. Although he had been in declining health for the past two years, his death was unexpected. Mr. Teague was born in Fort Wayne on March 5, 1956, a son of Ben L. and Victoria (Partin) Teague. He attended Smith-Green Community Schools and was a lifelong resident of Churubusco. He had formerly worked at Teague Welding in Churubusco and had last worked as a plating operator at Ternet Metal Finishing in Avilla. Surviving are eight children James, Isaiah, Shanah, Crystal, Heather, Matthew, Jessica, and Courtney; his mother Vickie Teague of Churubusco; his siblings Delores (Charles) Markham of Jellico, Tenn., Jerry Partin of Goshen, Kevin (Susie) Teague of Churubusco, Douglas (Sabrina) Teague of Fort Wayne, and Sheila Teague of Churubusco; and numerous grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Ben L. Teague; three brothers Roy Teague, John Teague, and David Partin; and by two sisters Linda Hamby and Lorraine Caddell. Funeral services will be held at 8 p. m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Rev. Rick Van Horn, pastor of Christ Community Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 p. m. until the time of the service. Private family interment will be held Wednesday morning at Eel River Cemetery, south of Churubusco. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to the family to assist with final expenses. **********************************************
