Laura E. Fuller, 69, of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2026. She was born on July 11, 1957, in Fort Wayne, to the Late Robert and Margaret (Fiandt) Fuller, and will be remembered as a beloved sister, aunt, and friend whose joyful spirit touched many lives.
Laura faced the challenges of cerebral palsy from birth, meeting life with remarkable courage, resilience, and determination. She remained a kid at heart and found happiness in the simple things. Laura loved road trips, music, and watching her favorite television program, The Price Is Right. She especially enjoyed dressing up for holidays and bringing smiles and laughter to those around her.
Laura had a special gift for connecting with people. She would light up when talking with men. Her faith was also central to who she was, and she was a devoted member of Grace Presbyterian Church.
Laura treasured her family and the time she spent with those she loved. Her gentle spirit, playful personality, and ability to find joy in everyday moments will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to her exceptional care team of Candice, Christina, Kayla, Talisha, Wendy, Beth, Julie, and Shalina for the kindness, dedication, and love they showed Laura throughout her journey. We also thank Luminary Hospice and the ResCare caregivers for the compassionate care and support they provided Laura.
She is survived by her sister, Judy (Clarence) Scheumann; sister-in-law, Holly Fuller; stepsister, Jennie (Clifford) Householder; and stepbrothers, Hayes (Monica) McBride and Daniel McBride.
In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her stepfather, Don McBride; her brothers, Mark Fuller and Terrance Fuller; and stepbrother, William McBride.
