Lee A. Guiff, 75, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at his home. Born in Kansas City on June 18, 1943, he was the son of the late Jacob and Hilda (Giesking) Guiff. He spent his formative years in Allen County and graduated from Arcola High School in 1961. After High School he was drafted into the United States Airforce where he was stationed in Reno Nevada. That is where he met the love of his life, Cornelia O'Doan. The couple were married on February 20, 1965. They settled in Fort Wayne in 1967, after Lee was Honorably discharged from the Military. Lee retired from Dana Corp., Fort Wayne, in 2005, after 37 years of dedicated service. He loved to be a mechanic and was always tinkering with something. He was a pilot and an avid flyer. Lee is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cornelia "Connie" Guiff; a sister, Elaine Fortmeyer; a niece, Jenny (Rick) Busch; a nephew, Eric (Cindy) Fortmeyer; many great nieces, great nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents. Calling will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Services will be held at a later date in Reno. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Reno, Nevada.
