Linda Smith

Linda Smith, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away on November 17, 2021, at Lutheran Downtown Hospital. She was born on August 28, 1928, in Connersville, to the late John B. and Pearl Ann (Harrison) Allen. On October 25, 1946, she was married Raymond D. Smith Sr. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2004. Linda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She loved collecting dolls and doing crafts. She is survived by two sons, John E. Smith and Raymond "Jake" Smith Jr.; two daughters, Naomi Sue (Daniel) Roth and Linda Lou Rorick; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Lilly Gaddis; son-in-law Steven Bowers Sr. Linda was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna M. Bowers on January 19, 2021; seven brothers and six sisters; a son-in-law, Leonard A. Rorick. The funeral will be Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 12:00 pm at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, Huntertown Chapel, with calling two hours prior to the service from 10-12.
