Linda Weatherholt

Linda Lothamer Weatherholt, 60, a resident of Blue Lake near Churubusco and wife of Larry W. Weatherholt, passed away at 11:37 p. m.e on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne where she had been a patient for one day.e Although she had been experiencing some health problems, her death was unexpected. Mrs. Weatherholt was born on January 7, 1951 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Richard L. and Lois E. (Hanauer) Lothamer.e She spent her formative years in the Waynedale area, and graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1969.e She lived her early adult years in Fort Wayne, and was married there on January 4, 1991 to Larry W. Weatherholt.e The couple have lived at Blue Lake since their marriage. Employed as an optometrist assistant for several years, she was a lover of nature, and enjoyed NASCAR, thee National Football League, and rodeos. The surviving relatives include her husband Larry; her daughter Lisa Knight of Fort Wayne; her father Richard L. Lothamer of Angola; a sister Marge Dahm of Indianapolis; and five nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother on January 18, 2009. At the request of the family there will be no services or calling hours.
