Lisa Lytle, 59, of Avilla, passed away on March 30, 2025, at Kendallville Manor.
She was born in Fort Wayne on October 27, 1965, to the Late Robert E. and Janet (Bennett) Smith. She spent her formative years in Churubusco and graduated from Churubusco High School. While in high school, she earned her Cosmetology License.
Lisa was known for her bold personality and made everyone around her laugh. Lisa touched the lives of many through her work as a hairdresser, a profession where she expressed her creativity and skill with grace and warmth. Lisa enjoyed crocheting, playing card games, watching videos, and dining out in her leisure time. She had a competitive streak and was a proud state bowling champion in her youth.
She is survived by her stepmother, Karen Smith; her aunt, Rita Bennett; her cousins, David (Sharon) Byerley, Mark (Tammy) Byerley, Charles Bennett, and Stephanie Roque.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel, with calling one hour prior.
Burial will take place in the Eel River Cemetery.
