Lloyd Young

Lloyd T. Young , 85, of Albion, passed away at 4:45 pm on Friday, July 13, 2012 at North Ridge Village Nursing Home in Albion. Mr. Young was born on July 21, 1926 in Green Township, Noble County, a son of Fred M. and Flossie (Heintzelman). He spent his formative years in Noble County. On September 15, 1946 he was married to Ruth Anna Brown. He was a Noble County farmer. Mr. Young was a member of Blue River Church of the Brethren. The surviving relatives include wife, Ruth Anna Young of Albion; daughter Carol Young of Albion; a sister Mary Ann Wakeman of Kendallville. He was preceded in death by his parents; a Son John S. Young December 19, 2006; a brother Donald E. Young. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Pastor Craig Alan Myers, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, or one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
