Lonna Zink

Lonna Lynn Zink, 47, of Columbia City, passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Monday, October 31, 2016 at her home in Columbia City. She was born on December 10, 1968 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Janice Zink. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne, and attended Snider High School. Lonna was a Nanny and a cleaner. She loved to take care of her granddaughter and her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning. She like to travel to Florida and put her feet in the sand. The surviving relatives include her daughter, Charity Zink of Columbia City; two sisters, Lela (David) Mires of Avilla and Lekiesha (Randy) Smith of Columbia City; her granddaughter, Brooklyn Jackson of Columbia City; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Janice Zink and grandparents Orville and Deloris Zink. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday.
